we present the new ep by zander vt - and what an ep it is... it owns the promising
title “get up”, and it is our catalogue number bpc183. promising, because you truly get what you expect from a title like that: a house recod.
but not only some house record - you get one of the best house records of the year! the motor city detroit did not act as an inspiration this time. that´s why you won´t find any strings or pads in these tracks - instead you can expect pumping basslines, hypnotic bongos and vocal samples that will make you screaming for more.
a: get up
that said, the a-side - “get up” - kicks it off properly. this track has already been
causing some serious sensation within the dj-elite, as a promo under the name
“partytime”. when these “get up, it´s partytime” vocals set in and this pumping groove starts moving your feet, you don´t have a choice - according to the motto: “we will
get you away...“
b: get down
on the flipside - “get down”- the zanders are taking it a bit deeper and cautios, perfect for the morning after, the afterhour, or what- and whereever.... as lightheaded as this track comes along, you might assume it´s easy to do tracks like that, giving you the feeling you could easily dance to it for another eight more hours.
just give it a try and you´ll recognize it´s not that easy at all... |

INFOSHEET DEUTSCHda haben sich dich jungens aber mal wieder zeit gelassen! doch wie heisst es so schoen: "was lange waert wird gut!". und nun ist sie endlich da - die neue zander vt auf bpitch control. der
richtungsweisende titel dieser platte ist "get up", und bpc 183 unsere katalognummer.
richtungsweisend deshalb, weil der titel schon vermuten lässt, was die tracks dann auch halten: nämlich eine house-platte auf bpitch control. und nicht nur irgendeine, sondern eine der besten house-platten dieses jahres. die motor city detroit stand dieses mal nicht pate für die tracks. deshalb gibt es hier auch keine strings und keine pads - dafuer aber einen pumpenden, rhythmusorientierten groove, hypnotische bongos und vocal-samples die es in sich haben.
a: get up
so legt die a-seite - “get up” - auch gleich mal richtig los. bereits als promo unter dem namen "partytime” sorgte dieser track bereits in eingeweihten dj-kreisen für aufsehen. "get up, it´s partytime" schallt es durch den raum und dieser pumpende groove lässt einem wirklich keine andere wahl - getreu dem motto “wir kriegen euch
sowieso”.
b: get down
auf der b-seite - “get down”- gehen es die zanders dann es etwas deeper und verhaltener an - für den morgen danach, die afterhour, oder wo auch immer...
so leichtfertig wie der track hier um die ecke kommt hat man das gefühl, nichts wäre leichter als tracks zu produzieren die einem das gefühl geben man könnte auch noch die nächsten acht stunden zu diesem groove das tanzbein schwingen. aber das muss einem erstmal jemand nachmachen. |
