INFOSHEET DEUTSCHwie auch sascha funke profitiert paul kalkbrenner von seinem temporären aufenthalt im südfranzösischen aix-en-provence. beide produzenten werkeln dort unermüdlich im studio und genießen nebenbei “la vie francaise”, welches ja bekanntlich nicht das schlechteste ist.
pauls neue tracks sind, wie immer, techno-bretter, die es in sich haben.
“altes kamuffel”, lullt zu anfang mit einer trancigen synthlinie, fast schon romantisch, ein, wird von einem straigthen beat unterwandert und drischt dann richtig los. der bass fliegt einem um die ohren, die claps bohren sich krisp in die stirnhöhlen und der hohe, leicht verspielte synth erwärmt das herz. der track für den peak der clubnacht!
“ick muss aus dit milieu heraus” geht hingegen gleich zur sache und steigert sich trotzdem kontinuierlich. trotz break, der einem eine kleine atempause lassen soll, kommt man nicht wirklich zum luft holen - mehr, mehr, mehr ... und da stampft sie wieder ordentlich, die bassdrum ...
neben dieser produktion arbeitet paul schon intensiv an der filmmusik für seinen film mit hannes stöhr, in dem er auch die hauptrolle übernehmen wird. drehbeginn noch diesen sommer!

paul’s new tracks are, as usual, first class techno burners.
“altes kamuffel” starts off with a soft and trancy synth line, almost romantic, is infiltrated by a straight beat and then goes off like bum.the bass hits your stomach, the clap drills crisply into your sinuses and the high, playful synth warms up your heart. the track for the peak of a club night.
“ick muss aus dit milieu heraus” (meaning “i gotta get out of this milieu”) on the opposite is there right away but nevertheless builds up continously. even with a longer break in the middle of the track that gives you the chance to catch your breath, you can’t really stop - more, more, more ... and the bassdrum again!
beside this production, paul is working intensively on the film music for his movie by hannes stoehr, in which he will also play the main character. he’ll start shooting this summer already! |
